Plates On Deck started in 2019 in Queens, NY as a catering company selling seafood boils and custom orders. Chef Ken is the culinary mastermind and heartbeat in the kitchen and Ziomara is the brains of the operation.
During the pandemic, the couple relocated to Central Florida and have been calling it home since the summer of 2020. Plates On Deck started laying roots in the Orlando, Kissimmee, and Davenport area serving their signature seafood boils via myplatesondeck.com, UberEats, and GrubHub. Chef Ken provides amazing catering and one-of-a-kind private dining experiences to locals and tourists.
Both Chef Ken and Ziomara are native New Yorkers but this isn’t the first time they’ve called Florida home. Chef Ken is a graduate of Colonial High School in Orlando and former student of Valencia College. Ziomara is an alumni of Florida Southern College in Lakeland.
